FAQ
How do I schedule an appointment?
To schedule an appointment, you can call our office at (501) 404-7024, reach out via email at flourishcounseling@sarahhayden.org, or use our online booking system by clicking here. I will get back to you promptly to arrange a convenient time.
What should I expect during my first session?
Your first counseling session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. During an intake counseling session, I will ask a series of questions to gain comprehensive information about your background, current concerns, and therapy goals. We will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and process any questions you might have. It’s a safe space for you to share, and we will begin to outline a plan for your therapy.
How long are the therapy sessions?
I offer therapy sessions ranging from 50 minutes to two hours in length. Longer sessions can be arranged if needed, depending on your individual requirements and treatment plan.
What issues do you specialize in?
I am passionate about supporting women through various challenges such as pregnancy, postpartum, PMDD, infertility, loss, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I understand the unique challenges that women face and provide tailored support to help you navigate these experiences with resilience and strength. Additionally, I have a strong focus in working with children and adolescents, helping them develop the skills and coping mechanisms needed to thrive in today’s world. I have received specialized education in couples’ and family therapy, allowing me to foster healthier connections and more fulfilling relationships.
Do you accept insurance?
No, I do not accept insurance. My practice operates on a private pay model, which allows for more flexibility and personalized care. However, I provide superbills after each session, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement if your plan allows for it.
What is a superbill, and how does it work?
A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes information about the services provided during your session, including necessary codes for reimbursement. After your appointment, you’ll receive a superbill to submit to your insurance provider, allowing you to potentially use your out-of-network benefits.
How does private pay work, and what forms of payment do you accept?
Private pay means you pay for services out-of-pocket at the time of your appointment, giving you a straightforward approach to care. I accept various forms of payment, including credit/debit cards. If you have a specific payment method in mind, feel free to ask!
